Trafalgar Lodge - Nelson

The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from Trafalgar Park and within walking distance to all the main attractions in town. We could easily explore the city, enjoy great meals, shop, and sightsee without any hassle. As foreign tourists, this was a major plus for us.

We felt spoilt during our stay. The customer service was exceptional, with the owners Georgina and Jim being incredibly friendly and helpful.

This motel is perfect for any business traveler. Its convenient location near the center of town and the supermarket is an excellent advantage. the rooms are always kept clean and the service is friendly. the self, contained units have everything you need, and the availability of free Wi, Fi and off, road parking makes the stay even more comfortable. the kitchenette is very basic, but it has all necessities, and you'll also receive biscuits to go with your tea!

The room might be a bit small for people who need more space to move around comfortably.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. the location was absolutely perfect. It was just a short walk away from the city center, making it convenient for exploring all the main attractions. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed during my stay. Lastly, the rooms were well-appointed with a kitchenette and had fresh towels and pretty linens.

Although there were some minor areas for improvement, overall my stay was excellent.

We recently stayed at a motel in New Zealand that truly exceeded our expectations. Trafalgar Lodge was incredibly spacious compared to other motels we've stayed at in the past. Not only was the room comfortable, but the staff also went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even surprised me with a special chocolate bar for my birthday! the motel's location was perfect, being within walking distance of shops and the bus depot.

The value for money at the lodge was great, and the room was warm, clean, and well-equipped. The location was perfect for accessing the rugby and exploring the town. The staff were helpful and provided good sightseeing recommendations.

Breakfast delights could be improved with more variety in the kitchen utensils available for families who prefer to cook in.

Had a lovely Christmas stay at a small hotel very close to the downtown. The staff was friendly and gave me good recommendations for exploring the local area. The room was clean and had all the basic facilities I needed. I especially liked the fact that I could walk to all the key locations in the city center.
